

First day in the Dominican Republic
Woke up to cars honking and Roosters at 6 AM. Bien Venido
For breakfast extremely salty eggs, fruit, PBJ
Lunch, PBJ, rice and some sort of beef
Took a scavenger hunt throughout the city
Placed that we stopped by
Exchanged money 33.2 pesos to the Dollar
Started at Cathedral near Calle del Sole and 30 De Marzo
Tried to buy a Pina
Parque Duarte – had to ask the shoeshine boys how much for a shine
“Quipe” is a scary meat looking thing
La Sirena was closed and no one new the Motto or Lema
Mercado Modelo was closed but a guy with a gun sat outside
Correos, or post officeo was closed to
Farmacia was closed too….Sunday….
El Gran Teatro Del Cibao was a theater – Closes, and the Monument
Had beers in a restaurant called Puerta Del sol – 6% alki bridgey likey
